Renee Soyer was the second chipmunk to arrive on the
Island. She had two younger twin brothers, Jake and Kyle.
Her parents were Adam and Maggie. Growing up she was
cheerful, but often quite shy and loved to take gymnastics.
Renee did not really know many friends in school. Even
though she had a few friends, she pretty much kept to her
self. After arriving to the Island she kept close to the rest
of the Chipmunks, she could sense that the other kids
could not be trusted.

Brenda Asprin arrived on the Island against her will thirdly.
Before coming here, she lived in England with her parents,
Bruce and Lily, and sister, Courtney. Brenda had a fixation
over sculpting. Her dream one day is to fly an aircraft or
space shuttle. She was naturally smart and understood
most of what the schools were teaching. When she arrived,
Renee and she became roommates and fast friends.

Mary-Anne Ellis was one of the first generation of 'students' taken
to Founder's Island. Her home was Helensville, in New Zealand.

She had a unique gift that enabled her to see what kind of species
was running the 'school'. As a child, Mary had a strong connection
with her grandmother. Her last birthday before being kidnapped,
her grandmother gave her a golden angel pin for protection.

Thanks to the golden pin, Mary was able to stay focused and not
fall into the Founder's brainwashing trap.

Her loneliness ended when she found others like her (Jeff, Rob,
and Mark). The four of them together made a great team. They
were able to convince the Founders that they would be their
greatest weapon - which allowed them the perfect cover to expose
them from the inside.

Later they watched as the Founders bring chipmunks to the Island
(Tom, Renee, Brenda, Brian, and Simon). Mary and the boys felt
that these chipmunks would be a great asset to their team and at
the same time, save them from being brainwashed by the
Founders.

Sadly, Mary's life ended during a failed attempt to escape from the
Founders while on a away mission to L.A.

Tom Relic was the oldest and the first chipmunk to arrive
to the Island. His father Nathan was a widower. Tom's late
mother, Gracie, was killed in a car accident just a year
before he had been chosen for this project. After his
mother died, Tom began hiding himself in books. His only
focus was his studies at school. It was his way to avoid
showing his emotions. As the others came to the Island he
subconsciously became the protector of the group.
Secretly he always wanted siblings and he found the family
he always wanted with the rest of the Chipmunks.

The fourth chipmunk that arrived was Brian Malton. He lived
with his parents, Frank and Cindy, and twin sister, Ashley, in
Ontario, Canada. Brian, as a child was usually very quiet. He
would not really talk to anyone, unless it was with his sister.
Both he and his sister mostly studied, but he would still end
up with the higher scores on his report card. Ashley would
actually end up having a more social life; then he did
because of it. As for Brian, if he were not studying, or
hanging out with his sister, he would write in his journal. Out
of the five chipmunks chosen, Brian seemed the most
dangerous. He is what some would say, a ticking time
bomb. The only time this chipmunk ever opened up is when
he is with the other chipmunks on the Island.

Jeff was a handsome young boy that was also brilliant in
school. He was brought to the Island and almost instantly
found the a close friendship with Rob and Mark that came
to the Island about the same time he did.

When Mary joined their little group, Jeff was relieved. He
had hoped that more students were more aware of what
was happening, but until the chipmunks showed up it was
only the four of them.

Mark is from Asia. One of the brightest students in his
class, Mark had a good positive future. His life and goals
changed when the Founders brought him to the Island. He
stayed close to Mary and the others as they plotted against
their kidnappers.

Vincent, Mary, and Tom are Simon and Jeanette's
children.

Vincent is the oldest of the three. He is also the one that
gets into the most trouble.

Mary-Anne is the middle child. She has an extraordinary
gift that allows her to see spirits and sense things that are
about to happen. She was named after Simon's human
friend from the Island.

Tom is the youngest. Like his father, he stresses when his
older brother is getting them into trouble. He was named
after Simon's chipmunk friend from the Island.
