The Muppets

An idea popped into my head last night when I went to bed. It involves the Chipmunks and the Chipettes in a
50th Anniversary special for the Muppets (The 50th Anniversary was actually 2005, but I digress). This
special would include those from Sesame Street, The Muppet Show and Fraggle Rock (some of my
favorites), including those who are still around today. Learn more about the Muppets on

This is how I believe it might go:
*The Muppet Show theme
*"Happy Feet", performed by Kermit the Frog
*"ABC-DEF-GHI", performed by Big Bird
*Cookie Monster introduces the letter of the day for Sesame Street, C, and sings "C is for Cookie".
*"Things Out There" (Song from Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein), performed by the Chipmunks
as they attempt to escape from several Muppet Monsters, including the Mutations, Sweetums, Timmy
Monster, Doglion, Mean Mama and Thog. Turns out that all they want is their autograph (from the Julie
Andrews episode).
*A Monologue by Fozzie Bear, Kermit & Fozzie telling a joke
*Veterinarian's Hospital
*Sam the Eagle tells the fable of "The Ant and The Grasshopper". In Sam's version, the fun-loving
grasshopper drives to Florida for the winter, and the hard-working ant gets stepped on (from the Bernadette
Peters episode).
*Talk Spot - Big Bird and Aloysius "Snuffy" Snuffleupagus talk about the first day they met and the first time
the adults on Sesame Street first saw Snuffy.
*"I'm Going to Go Back There Someday", performed by Gonzo.
*Pigs in Space
*"I Love Trash", performed by Oscar the Grouch.
*Muppet Labs, Simon of the Chipmunks guest stars
*The Number of the Day, Count von Count plays his organ and finds out that the number of the day for
Sesame Street is 6.
*Fish Call, old Ernie & Bert skit from 1982.
*"Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", performed by the Chipettes.
*Global Grover
*The Swedish Chef, Theodore of the Chipmunks and Eleanor of the Chipettes guest star
*"Two Lost Souls", performed by Sweetums and Robin the Frog.
*"The First Time It Happens", performed by Kermit and Miss Piggy, later joined by the Chipmunks and their
Chipette counterparts.
*Talk Spot/Spanish Word of the Day - Theodore and Eleanor befriend the giant Thog and Rosita suggests
they offer him un abrazo, which means "hug" in Spanish, and Thog (who knows some Spanish) offers
Theodore, Eleanor and Rosita un grande, pero apacible, abrazo, which Rosita translates "a big, but gentle,
hug", and all four share un grande, pero apacible, abrazo.
*"The Rock Goes On", performed by the five main Fraggles (Gobo, Mokey, Wembley, Boober and Red),
along with a few other Fraggles.
*"One of These Things", Simon and Jeanette display things that are not like the others, and Rizzo the Rat
and Pepe the King Prawn have to guess which ones are not like the others.
*"Can You Picture That?", performed by Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.
*"One Small Voice", performed by the Sesame Street Monsters, including Elmo, Zoe, Telly, Herry, Grover
and Cookie Monster.
*"Boy & Girls of Rock & Roll", performed by the Chipmunks and the Chipettes.
*"The Rainbow Connection", performed by all of the Muppets, along with the Chipmunks and the Chipettes.

Well, that's my idea for our favorite Chipmunks and some of America's favorite puppet characters. What do
