This photo was taken from our very first public appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1958; our creator, Ross Bagdasarian, Sr., had established himself as our adoptive father figure, David Seville. I am the one on the left, that's Theodore in the middle, and of course, that's Alvin goofing off next to Ross Sr.

Here's a shot from the opening to our first animated series, The Alvin Show, which aired from 1961 to 1962... take a look at those ridiculous glasses I used to wear.

Here is when my brothers and I got a bit of a makeover, with the assistance of animation pioneer, Chuck Jones, for our 1981 special, A Chipmunk Christmas.
